Craig Ferguson, born on May 17, 1962, in Glasgow, Scotland, is a Scottish-American comedian, actor, writer, and television host. He began his entertainment career in the UK, performing as a drummer for punk bands and later transitioning to comedy with his character "Bing Hitler." Ferguson gained prominence in the United States for his role as Nigel Wick on "The Drew Carey Show" from 1996 to 2003. He is best known for hosting "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on CBS from 2005 to 2014, earning a Peabody Award in 2009 for his interview with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Beyond television, Ferguson has authored three books, including the memoir "American on Purpose," and has lent his voice to animated films such as the "How to Train Your Dragon" series. In recent years, he has continued his stand-up comedy tours and explored various television projects.
