Dana Gould, born August 24, 1964, in Hopedale, Massachusetts, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and voice artist. He began performing comedy at age 17 and later moved to San Francisco to further his career. Gould has been featured on HBO, Showtime, and Comedy Central, and is known for voicing the titular character in the Gex video game series. He was a writer and co-executive producer for "The Simpsons" from 2001 to 2007. In 2016, he created the IFC comedy-horror series "Stan Against Evil." Gould also hosts his own podcast, "The Dana Gould Hour."
